About this project
Constructed in 2006, VCU Track and Soccer Complex allowed VCU to have a NCAA approved track and soccer complex. The tolerances on this project were a ¼ inch on the field, which had a specialty mix design with fibers and profile to allow water to immediately flow through the field into the storm sewer. The track aspect of this project had an 1/8th of an inch tolerance to comply with NCAA regulations. Because we met this strict tolerance a potential world record time can be certified on this track.
