J. E. Liesfeld Contractor, Inc. employs a wide variety of grading equipment as part of our site preparation and site development fleet. We operate over 100 pieces of equipment that help sculpt the client’s site from its original elevations to the final design. Our emphasis is on maintaining our client’s site development schedule while delivering a high-quality product within a safe operating environment. We have worked closely on grading projects over the past forty-one years with most of Central Virginia’s geo-technical and civil engineering firms.
Grading, to us, also means emphasizing maintenance of erosion control measures throughout the job in an effort to eliminate or minimize disturbances to the surrounding environment. Each site is “rolled-in” every evening to reduce runoff and downtime due to inclement weather. We use the latest technology in GPS grading equipment to eliminate the need for staking.
