About this project
The Carmax Headquarters was a thirty acre site located in the West Creek Business Park in Goochland, VA. The project consisted of a five story 250,000 SQFT building and parking deck. Liesfeld performed a full site work package including clearing, grading, utilities, site concrete and asphalt paving. The site had a very low impact approach and has the original wood line only ten feet away from the building. The project included a large athletic area featuring a baseball field.
Liesfeld also built the 4,000 foot entrance road and intersection improvements to Tuckahoe Creek Parkway.
The project was awarded “Best of 2005, Office Category” by Mid-Atlantic Construction magazine.

In 2014, Liesfeld completed a new 202 space parking lot edition on campus including a new entrance road to the existing parking deck.
