About this project
The River City Sportsplex (formerly SportsQuest) is an eighteen synthetic field sports complex with associated parking lots and amenities located on 115 acres in Chesterfield, Virginia. When Liesfeld Contractor was awarded this project it came with the responsibility of not only maintaining an aggressive schedule but also a high profile. The nature of the project required Liesfeld to have to make quick changes on site to accommodate upcoming sporting events and immediate needs of the owner while moving the remainder of the project forward. We accomplished these goals by being flexible on site and working closely with inspectors to assure compliance with government regulations. It is a challenging task to have the public using a facility while it is still under construction.
