About this project
In 2014, Liesfeld moved 225,000 cubic yards of overburden material at Vulcan Material’s Royal Stone Quarry in Rockville, Virginia. Liesfeld also installed several thousand feet of V Ditches that had mixtures of rip rap and slope stabilization matting. The project utilized Liesfeld’s mining support operations in moving over 10,000 cubic yards per day.
