This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role in the Richmond area, specializing in the repair and maintenance of trucks and heavy construction equipment. The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Liesfeld’s fleet, including trucks, trailers, dozers, loaders, excavators, and graders. Key responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems; completing preventative maintenance schedules; documenting all work performed; and communicating effectively with operations and field teams to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with heavy equipment and trucks in construction or fleet maintenance, strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and the ability to safely use diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Additional qualifications include attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced shop or field environment.
