Overview
The Surveyor at Liesfeld Contractor is responsible for precisely measuring, laying out, and verifying construction sites to ensure all structures and utilities are built exactly according to engineering and architectural plans. This field-only position is critical to the success of civil construction packages, providing accurate reference points and data that guide crews throughout all phases of construction. Using advanced tools such as Topcon GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and digital levels, the Surveyor acts as the technical link between designers and field teams, helping prevent costly errors and ensuring project accuracy from start to finish. Qualified candidates will hold a high school diploma, with an associate or bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, and bring 2–5 years of experience in civil construction surveying.
