This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer position, primarily working across job sites in the Greater Richmond region. The Project Engineer will support project communication and management, including project planning and oversight of heavy civil and site development operations. Key responsibilities include tracking field production, managing RFIs and submittals, assisting field crews, and coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong project management and engineering skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience with project planning and construction contract documents.
While prior site work or heavy civil experience is encouraged, it is not required. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should be able to work in fast-paced environments, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and bring previous construction industry experience or a strong willingness to learn and grow in the role.
