This is a full-time, over-the-road position for a Field Diesel Mechanic specializing in the repair, maintenance, and advanced diagnostics of diesel-powered trucks and heavy construction equipment. The Field Diesel Mechanic is responsible for major mechanical repairs and plays a critical role in maintaining the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of Liesfeld’s fleet by minimizing downtime and supporting field operations.
This position is best suited for a highly skilled diesel mechanic with 3–5 years of hands-on experience working on heavy equipment and commercial trucks, including extensive experience performing engine and transmission work such as pull-outs, rebuilds, and installations. Strong diagnostic capabilities across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems are essential. Additional requirements include strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced field and shop environment.
