Overview
The Fleet & Shop Administrator is a full-time, on-site position responsible for providing the administrative coordination and systems support that keeps Liesfeld Contractor’s fleet and repair/maintenance operations organized, accurate, and moving efficiently. This role supports a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment, CDL trucks, pickups, trailers, and attachments by maintaining fleet records, coordinating preventive-maintenance information, processing invoices, managing vehicle documentation, tracking permits and renewals, and supporting fleet reporting and technology systems.
Working closely with the Truck Shop Foreman, Equipment Manager, mechanics, vendors, Finance, Safety, IT, and other departments, the Fleet & Shop Administrator serves as a key administrative resource for keeping critical fleet information current and ensuring important requirements are followed through to completion. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to identify missing or inconsistent information, proactively follow up, and maintain accurate records across multiple systems, including HCSS Equipment360, TENNA, VisionLink, Verizon, and related fleet and maintenance platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. This person should enjoy working with systems, spreadsheets, documentation, and recurring deadlines, while also being comfortable stepping into the shop or field environment when needed. Strong communication, follow-through, and accountability are essential.
This is a new position with meaningful opportunity for growth. The successful candidate will help establish and improve administrative processes within the repair/maintenance department, reduce missed items and administrative overlap, and become a trusted resource for fleet records, vehicle administration, maintenance documentation, and reporting. While mechanical knowledge is a plus, this is primarily an administrative and systems-focused position—not a mechanic role.
