Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Heavy Equipment Operator position in the greater Richmond region. The role is responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of heavy construction equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely completion of projects. The Heavy Equipment Operator will work on site preparation, excavation, grading, and other site development tasks, operating machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, skid steers, graders, and loaders. Key responsibilities include following project plans and specifications, performing pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance, adhering to safety protocols, and assisting with general labor tasks as needed to support the crew. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with heavy construction equipment, a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, and the ability to operate machinery efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment. Candidates must also be reliable, possess a valid Virginia driver’s license, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
