Overview
This is a full-time, field-based position for a Surveyor supporting civil construction projects across the Richmond region. The Surveyor is responsible for performing precise field measurements, establishing control points, and ensuring all construction activities align with engineering plans and specifications. This role plays a critical part in guiding field operations, minimizing errors, and ensuring projects are built accurately and efficiently from the ground up. This position is best suited for a skilled surveyor with 2–5 years of hands-on civil construction experience and strong proficiency with modern surveying equipment, including Topcon GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and digital levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret construction plans and grades, and the capability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with project managers, engineers, and field crews in a fast-paced construction environment.
