Overview
This is a full-time onsite role as a truck driver in the Richmond region. This role will be responsible for the transport of materials, equipment, and heavy machinery to and from job sites. Some key responsibilities include operating dump trucks and lowboy trailers to transport materials (e.g., dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, construction debris, heavy equipment) to and from job sites, safely loading and unloading construction materials and equipment using proper equipment handling techniques, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are safe to operate and reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team. A Liesfeld truck driver should have proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver and/or Lowboy Driver in the construction or transportation industry, a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with an acceptable driving record, knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance, and the ability to secure loads properly and safely, ensuring transportation of materials and machinery in compliance with all regulations.
