The Utility & Field Compliance Marshall is a full-time, on-site position in the Greater Richmond, VA area responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and compliant field operations across Liesfeld Contractor’s active construction projects. This role serves as a key link between Project Management, Operations, Safety, and Field Teams to identify utility conflicts, prevent damage and service interruptions, and improve field compliance. Responsibilities include reviewing utility layouts and project plans, conducting field audits and observations, monitoring and investigating utility strikes, shutdowns, and near misses, tracking performance trends, and supporting corrective actions and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, utilities, field operations, or safety, with strong problem-solving and communication skills, the ability to interpret construction plans, and a proactive approach to identifying risks and improving jobsite performance.
