Liesfeld Contractor provided full turnkey site development for the Deepwater Industrial Park, a transformative redevelopment of a former logistics complex in Richmond’s southside industrial corridor. The project featured three major building pads, including a 1.1 million square foot pad for Lowe’s and over 400,000 square feet across two additional pads.
The project began with the large-scale demolition of the former logistics center, where a partner dismantled existing buildings. Liesfeld did the site demolition, processed on-site materials, and recycled the resulting concrete into usable stone base for the new development. This sustainable approach reduced waste and accelerated early site progress.
Following demolition, Liesfeld executed a comprehensive sitework package that included clearing, erosion control, mass grading, stormwater infrastructure, water and sanitary utilities, fine grading, stone placement, and paving. Liesfeld’s ability to integrate demolition, material reuse, and full-scope development made this a standout urban infill project, supporting the next generation of industrial tenants in the region.
