Liesfeld Contractor delivered full-site development services for the Confidential Henrico Data Center Campus, a five-building hyperscale facility spanning more than 200 acres across three parcels. This project, developed for one of the largest technology companies in the United States, represents one of the largest and most complex site packages completed in Virginia.
The scope included nine building pads totaling over 1.4 million square feet, 214,000+ linear feet of utilities, and more than 810,000 tons of stone. Liesfeld self-performed all major site operations, including clearing, erosion control, mass grading, deep stormwater and utility installation, and the build-out of a 25-acre logistics zone. Utility installation featured telecom, water, sanitary, and power, with pipe sizes and depths requiring advanced coordination and specialized equipment.
The project showcased Liesfeld’s strength in fast-track delivery and complex phasing, meeting aggressive schedules while integrating with BIM and digital as-built workflows. Notably, the project included:
Liesfeld’s strong management presence, digital planning, and regional experience allowed it to support unique scope challenges and uphold the trust of both the general contractor and owner teams. This campus stands as a benchmark for hyperscale data center delivery in Central Virginia.
