About this project
In February 2013, Liesfeld moved 175,000 Cubic Yards of Overburden Material at Aggregate Industries’ Charles City Sand Pit. The project highlighted Liesfeld Program Management & Site Engineering capabilities. Liesfeld used innovative equipment to speed the process up while maintaining a safe site. Other concepts of the project included topsoil placement, haul road (including a bridge) construction and clearing.
