About this project

Rolls Royce Crosspointe is a state of the art manufacturing facility located on eight -five acres  in Prince George, Virginia. The project was broken into three phases for three different clients. Starting in 2009 construction began on the Rotatives Facility located on the eastern part of the campus. Then in 2012, things got fired back up for the construction of the Advanced Aerofoil Machining Facility (AAMF) and in 2013 for the mass earthwork package for the Rolls Royce Vendor Park project.

The Rolls Royce Rotatives Facility sits on Wells Station Road in Prince George, VA. The complete site work package included a 210,000 SQFT building pad, 44 acres of grading, two sediment basins, large parking lots, large site concrete package and utilities.

The Rolls Royce Advanced Aerofoil Machining Facility (AAMF) sits next door to the Rolls Royce Rotatives Facility. The complete site work package included a 85,000 SQFT building pad, 60 acres of grading, modification of two previous basins, site demolition/modification to existing parking lots, large site concrete package included 60,000 SQFT of heavy duty concrete paving with a dowel system and utility improvements.

The Rolls Royce Vendor Park sits right off Hardware Drive (which Liesfeld constructed in 2002). The mass earthwork package included two 75,000 SQFT stone building pads, 1,000 FT stone entrance road, concrete entrance, site engineering, large sediment basin, and storm sewer.

The project highlighted several client services such as our pre-construction and design build. Liesfeld was involved early on in the process to reduce costs with constructability reviews to limit off site borrow & waste.
