About this project
The Dominion Commerce Road Laydown Yard was a fifteen-acre stone laydown yard project located in Richmond, Virgina for the end user HD Supply & Dominion Resources. Liesfeld approached the project with a wide array of services to help save the project cost and time. The project utilized over 40,000 tons of crushed concrete in the 22″ to 11″ stone sections. The project included a large sediment basin featuring dewatering structures, clay core dam with piping, concrete ditches, concrete spill ways, wetland areas and complex grading to accommodate several forebays and shelves.
