About this project
In 2012, Liesfeld completed the 1,650 linear foot Skipwith Elementary Stream Restoration Project located in Henrico, Virginia. The project included stream channel grading, grading, construction of in-stream structures, seeding, planting, construction of trails, rain gardens, installation of stabilization blankets, construction of learning area and complex erosion control sequence.
The project was constructed under very wet winter conditions. However Liesfeld was still able to complete the project to specification and under the budget.
